• Worked as an external contractor for the World Food Programme (part of the United Nations), contributing to several high-impact projects. The most notable was WFP SCOPE, a platform that supports refugee assistance programs worldwide, benefiting around 50 million people.
  • As part of the backend development team, I was responsible for the registration and management of beneficiaries, as well as the printing and distribution of SCOPECARDs, which are NFC-enabled cards allowing beneficiaries to purchase essential goods like food and sanitary products.
  • Given the platform’s large user base, code quality, performance, and data privacy were paramount. Mistakes in the system could have serious repercussions, making security and scalability critical priorities.
  • Implemented OAuth integration across the entire portal, managing the migration of existing users to OAuth servers and facilitating the registration of new users.
  • Integrated REST APIs with external services such as Western Union, SMS providers, and other UN systems, often working under tight deadlines with incomplete requirements.
• Contributed to other key projects, including:
  • WFP Partner Connect: a platform used to evaluate and approve partner proposals for relief operations in country offices worldwide. I managed a backend system and handled its integration with DocuSign.
  • WFP GEMS: a global asset management and inventory system. I upgraded outdated dependencies, resolved conflicts and deprecations, while also adding new features and integrating it with WFP’s ERP system (WINGS).
• Promoted to Tech Lead, where I supervised a team of three developers. My responsibilities included task delegation, resolving bottlenecks, conducting code reviews, and in general ensuring the smooth execution of operations.
• Contributed to the development of a portal for tour and hotel management, which included handling multi-currency pricing, multi-language support, room bookings, voucher generation, and more.
• Developed websites and portals for Bayer Pharmaceuticals, smaller businesses, and restaurants. I also provided IT technical support to the Italian Embassy in Bangkok.

• The company also organized international Muay Thai events, and I managed video editing for the fights and handled live streaming to audiences of up to 1,000 viewers.
